How we go about making an acquisition
We do our homework. We examine the deal from every angle, inside and out. Our in-house knowledge base consists of 12 investment professionals who have extensive experience in private equity. We also bring in specialists to help us determine the opportunities for each business we look at.

This depth of knowledge enables us to give the vendor a price we stick to and honor.

We are dedicated to developing each of the businesses in which we invest. So we provide financial resources to enable the business to expand by making acquisitions and by significant levels of capital expenditure. Steel Capital’s financial resources come from over 50 prestigious worldwide institutions.

We also provide people resources. We are in the business of supporting management to grow their company and we help by bringing in an outside chairman, if necessary, and having Steel Capital executives act as non-executive directors.

This enables us to develop a value added strategy for all our investments which is described overleaf.
